Probus clubs are organizations for retired people who wish to maintain a social network with others who have similar interests. There are more than 4,000 Probus Clubs worldwide with over 300,000 members. Probus Perth is a particularly active club with more than 150 enthusiastic members. The club has monthly meetings, excluding July and August, featuring interesting and entertaining speakers and presenters on an eclectic range of topics. Members have the opportunity to talk about their own life experiences and it has been said that the country could be run by the members of our club based on their talents and achievements. Optional social activities are numerous and varied and include such things as annual trips to the 1000 Island Playhouse, local dinner / theatre events, fall bus trips to interesting sites, seasonal parties and lunches.......and much more. New members are always welcome.

Perth Seniors Fellowship works with local groups and organizations to develop or offer activities and services for seniors at McMartin House.
Activities for Seniors at McMartin House typically include Bridge, Scottish Country Dancing, Line Dancing, Yoga, Crafts, and Rug Hooking, as well as Book, Stamp-Collecting and Friendship Clubs.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote good fellowship among the citizens of Perth and District, and in particular the senior citizens of Perth and District;
- To promote and provide activities and events for the senior citizens of Perth and District;
- To include activities/events of a social, recreational or educational nature such as Rug Hooking, Knitting, Crocheting and other Crafts, Dancing, Exercise, Yoga,
Card Games like Bridge and Euchre, Book Clubs, Stamp Collecting/Hobby Clubs and Friendship Clubs.
- To provide learning opportunities for our mature adult community such as opportunities to learn new Crafts or Hobbies, Dancing, how to play Bridge.
- To organize craft shows and social events for the citizens of Perth and District that will appeal to young and old.
- To maintain and establish an Elderly Persons' Centre: and
- To accept money from Her Majesty The Queen either in right of the Dominion of Canada or in right of the Province of Ontario, for any and all purposes including but not limited to the maintenance and operation of an Elderly Persons' Centre.
